"Trapped" in Imperial and Day After Tomorrow

Nasa office na ako, text from EI and JP (na nasa Imperial): "No work today. Come back to Imperial"... Shet! Sayang punta ko! Nagtrike nalang ako pabalik. Buti nalang nakarating ako on time, kung kailan lumakas na yung ulan at hangin. Pagdating ko doon, gising na buong team at nandoon na si Glenn. Ang saya namin kasi humingi kami ng 1 day break yesterday at natupad siya. Ang suwerte namin kasi may kuryente kami sa Imperial! Problema lang wala kaming pagkain lahat. Naubos na stock namin. Nagstare nalang kami outside the window.

We packed our things and moved to another room. Grabe gamit namin (lalo na kay Ei), parang magHoHongkong kami, ang dami!! We moved to a smoking room from a non smoking room... The difference? Di puwede magluto at magYosi (for the rest) sa dati. So we called for assistance and later settled in to our new room and unpacked our stuff. We then decided to go out and buy lunch at around 3:00pm since walang nagdedeliver. Me, Owie and Glenn walked Tomas Morato despite the heavy rain and the strong winds. Desperado na kami! Gutom na kami sobra! Well, at least shakey's was open at malapit lang siya kaya nakapagtake out kami..

Nagteam building kami... ang saya saya.. di lang namin napansin na umabot kami ng gabi.
8:30pm+
We all went out to get something to eat. Grabe sa labas, parang Day After Tomorrow / War of the Worlds. There's no electricity, except a few na may generator pero sobrang konti lang yon, cables lying in the streets, branches scattered on the road, 711 closed. Lakad lang kami ng lakad hanggang makakita ng open na restaurant na okay kainan... Until we saw McDo... Haha Parang Oasis sa Desert... Heaven in Hell.... Dami ngang tao at mainit kaya naisip nalang namin kumain sa Imperial.

I decided to rest since I didn't feel well all of a sudden. I used the time to catch up on my sleep since I have been sleeping late the past couple of days. Buti nakapagpahinga lang ako konti ngayong araw.

I woke up not feeling well. My colds and cough are worse now and I feel like I'm gonna be sick. The others went ahead to the office while I had to get a tape recorder from Bianca (Kaingin) this morning for our client meeting later. Since I thought it was near, I just walked to her place from Imperial and later felt so tired coz I wasn't feeling well and because of the heat. My energy level dropped when I reached the office and I felt like I was gonna faint. Then the guards said that the elevators were closed and we had to take the stairs. Dahil di ko na kinaya, I just stayed down stairs and waited... The team just decided to go down to have lunch since the generator gave up in the office. We're back here (since 2:00pm) and since the security's down..... meebo! friendster! etc...
